A few days ago we found this on our way up the stairs to go to bed. Most likely around 11:00 pm or so. 
Sometimes he has a really hard time falling asleep at night, and it looks like this time he just wanted to come down the stairs and snuggle with mommy and daddy. We keep telling him he can't fit through the gate, but he still tries. It broke our hearts. Then we got over it and took these pictures. He was so out the flash from the camera didn't bother him in the least. So sweet.

Kids are funny. Addy woke us up screaming the other night. We ran to her room because it was not like her at all. Well she was under her toddler bed (not much room under there) and had her hand caught in the spring. She had this dazed look on her face when we got her out. She somehow got under there when she was sleeping. I've also caught Addy sleeping kneeling by her bed. She is an interesting one.

Glad you "got over it" and took pictures. That is awesome! Did you show him the pics the next day? What did he think?
That makes my mom heart break. But it makes my everything else heart laugh. What a cute kid.
Okay amen to Kara, it made me feel for him too, but that was dang hilarious. Those are sometimes the best pictures too and seriously even though it breaks our heart, I am so glad that we can smile at those things too!
